HOPE
The Transformation
Juana met with Rose, a SA Hope Center mentor. Rose prayed with Juana and together, they talked about Juana’s dreams for a fresh start free from abuse and a living-wage. Within 24 hours, Rose was able to help Juana find an apartment! Juana finished her CNA license and found full-time employment as a nurse assistant! Today, Juana continues to meet with Rose and is doing great! She is living independently and is full of hope. We are so happy for her fresh start! Juana said, “I went a long time without hope, and now, because of SA Hope Center, there is hope in my life!”

HOPE
Even in darkness there's light
Dennis came to SA Hope Center to request assistance with food and his prescriptions. He was frustrated and angry. He began working one-on-one with Maria, a SA Hope Center mentor. Together, they established a number of goals and worked together to get Dennis back on track. Over the course of two years, Dennis experienced a dramatic transformation. He grew closer to the Lord and his attitude became so positive it was contagious. Dennis received assistance with food, help with finding an apartment, obtained a job, and even enrolled in college at San Antonio Theological College! Through Maria’s referrals, he received eye glasses, medical care, and prescription medications. He also attended a number of classes at SA Hope Center, including financial literacy, health education, bible classes, and job readiness.
