Groups make a great impact
We welcome groups who are looking to make a difference in our community!
Groups:

We are happy to provide a tour of our campus and take a group picture when you arrive.
Group Opportunities:
We can accommodate groups of 10 - 20 volunteers. Monday - Friday; Anytime from 9 am to 5 pm.
Hygiene Kit Drive & Mercadito
Host a hygiene kit drive at your workplace, school, church, or with family and friends. Then when you arrive for your day of service, you can sort and organize your donations into packs and prepare them for distribution at our site.
In the Mercadito, you can also:
- restock our shelves
- create emergency boxes of food
- break down boxes
- organize pallets of food
- sort through food
Clothing Drive & Boutique
Help our particpants dress to impress
Host a clothing drive at your workplace, school, church, or with family and friends then when you arrive for a day of service at the SA Hope Center you can sort out your donations and prepare them for distribution on-site.
In the boutique:
- Sort and organize
- label all donations
- hang on hangers
- Place on racks or shelves
- take items to the shopping side if needed
Educational or Enrichment Class
Bring joy and laughter to the community
Do you know a skill or talent that you would like to use to teach our community? If so, consider facilitating an educational or enrichment class? For example:
- Educational:
- Finance
- Mock Interviews
- Know your Rights
- Tenants
- Immigration
- Health and Nutrition
- Enrichment:
- Zumba, dance, or Pilates
- Sewing or Crocheting
- Art classes
- Computer classes
Special Services
Are you a business owner for special services that would like to provide for free to our community? Example Services:
- Haircuts or hair color
- Nails and Facials
- Massages
- Mechanics
- Oil change + filter
- Tire Rotation
- Air Filter
- Taxes
- Dentist/ Orthodontists:
- Cleanings
- Optometrist:
- Vision check
- Audiologists:
- Hearing check/hearing aids
Gas Card drive & Car Wash
Host a drive for gas cards in the value of $10 to $20 each. Then on a coordinated date of service, your group can provide a car wash service to individuals and families who will be receiving these gas cards.

Elderly Service Day
Acts of Service and Quality time
Get a group of your friends, co-workers, and church members, to participate in a day of service for our elderly program participants. Many of our elderly participants have many pending needs in their homes to fix, clean, or paint. If your group is willing to be handy, our elderly participants would appreciate your help!
Community Fair, Back to School Fair, or Fall Festival
Gather the Community Together
Help facilitate and run a community or back-to-school fair for our program participants. With the guidance of our programs team, connect with other partners, and coordinate a fair that will benefit in providing information and services to our community.
