Kiosk Check-In/Out
Groups
At this time, we are able to accommodate groups of 10 individuals. Group ambassadors please e-mail the volunteer coordinator at volunteer@sahopecenter.org or call (210) 640 2879 to coordinate groups.
Individuals
Individual volunteers make a huge impact in our food pantry and clothing closet. Volunteers who can come in consistently to serve are vital to our organization. Volunteers are part of the team and build camaraderie with our program participants and staff.
Volunteer Opportunities:
Shifts are from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm or 1 pm to 5 pm. We are happy to accomodate time frames but do encourage to volunteer no less than an hour.
Mercadito (Food Pantry)
Consist of stocking canned food, unloading pallets of canned food, organizing the food on shelves and placing food orders inside the vehicles of our participant shoppers.
Hope Programs
Everyone is needed
Facilitate one of our program classes or other enrichement and educational classes. Our program classes include our Faith & Finance (Financial Literacy), Positive Parenting, and Faith & Works (Career Readiness). You can also help our front desk/intake team with making phone calls and copies, helping participants fill out paperwork, praying in the lobby, and more.
Boutique (Clothing Closet)
Best Shopping Experience Ever
Help sort and organize donated items and manage our clothes closet. Build one-on-one relationships with participants as you guide them through the shopping experience.
Nurturing Garden
Let's grow together
We would like a few vegetables to be grown in, watered, and cared for daily. If you have experience gardening we would be grateful for any help in helping our vegetables/plants grow.

Help Make our Events shine!
From helping with our awesome fundraising events like our Golf Tournament and annual luncheon to helping us celebrate our graduating particpants at the Milestones of Hope event, and to special projects that come up as needed at our campus.
