Our model
Our model is a strength-based case management model. It is an evidence-based Social Work model that recognizes the value of community services, family, and cross-agency partnerships. In addition, this model allows the case manager to assess the strengths of the individual and utilizes those strengths to help them create opportunities for growth through education and skill development. This model allows the individual to take ownership of their identified goals and buy-in to build and nurture their support networks and resources.
Our Approach
Our goal at SA Hope Center is to help each of our clients become more sustainable in a Christ-centered environment. Food and clothing are temporary resources.
How it works
- You are welcome to come in for walk in services if it is an emergency situation. For case management services, please call to make an appointment or fill out our referral form.
- When you come to SA Hope Center to access food services, please bring a form of identification.
- Clients will be able to access food and clothing. The amount available is based on need and family size. SA Hope Center operates a client-choice food pantry for individuals and families participating the mentoring program. A client-choice pantry operates much like a grocery store in which a client may select their own food items. Clothing is also available
- Our programs are based on a case management model, meaning we will work with each client one-on-one in a confidential environment to create a plan to become sustainable
