Ana Zendejas, LCSW
Director of Mental Health & Wellness
Ana Zendejas brings over a decade of experience as a Behavioral Health Clinician and Consultant, specializing in program development and implementation, trauma-informed care, and psychotherapy services for families, individuals, and couples. As the Director of Mental Health and Wellness at SA Hope Center, she oversees the mental health program operations, implements trauma informed care best practices, and utilizes data-driven decision-making to ensure the success of mental health initiatives.
Ana holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from St. Mary’s University. Her professional journey includes roles as a Behavioral Health Consultant, Program Manager, Lead Safe Services Clinician, and Assistant Director of Permanency Support Services.
Having first been a part of SA Hope Center in 2017 as an intern, Ana has witnessed its remarkable growth and is honored to return. Her passion for empowering individuals through self-advocacy aligns perfectly with SA Hope Center’s mission.
Outside of her professional life, Ana enjoys organizing and decluttering, and is looking forward to her upcoming wedding in February. She finds strength and inspiration from her close-knit family, which includes her fiancé, two younger brothers, and parents.
