Elisa Martinez

Communications and Volunteer Coordinator

Elisa Martinez obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University-San Antonio in 2015. When Elisa was a teenager, she volunteered at the SA Hope Center in the children’s ministry and summer program. Teaching the children in the community about God’s unconditional love for them brought her immense joy. Elisa is proud of her Mexican-American culture and heritage, as she is the daughter of immigrant parents. Witnessing a real-life example of what one can achieve by pursuing their dreams has been a blessing. She understands the impact that a compassionate group of people can have when they come together to support individuals and families with dignity as they navigate through their life journey. Elisa is fluent in English, Spanish, and Spanglish. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, getting lost in a great film or book, and showing love to her fur baby, Nova. Elisa has been serving at the SA Hope Center since 2017.

"God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.
